Generation Union is a Presidential Volunteer Service Award certified non-profit organization with a mission to uplift elderly mental wellness and build an inclusive community between the older and younger generations by encouraging volunteerism and hosting social events.
Co-Founder & Director
Areen is a student at Herndon High School, passionate about mental health advocacy and social entrepreneurship. Inspired by her lifelong friend, her grandma, she started out as an independent volunteer at a local retirement home. She expanded her mission to Generation Union with the help of the amazing team, to better elderly mental wellness and share the love of volunteering.

Emily is a student at McLean High School, who was interested in connecting with the seniors in her neighborhood. She started her mission with Generation Union to make meaningful bonds with seniors and inspire students to volunteer in their community through organizing impactful events.

Rachel is a student at McLean High School with a passion for medicine and started her journey with Generation Union to improve the mental health and overall wellbeing of the elderly. She loves to organize various activities in different senior homes and plan fun and engaging events!
